Students need to learn to focus, not multi-task

In interesting opinion piece in Mind/Shift, psychologist Daniel Goleman talks about the problems students encounter learning to focus in the age of digital technology.  Although computers and other devices can be helpful in the learning process, they can distract and detract from long-term, quality learning.
