Adopted kids have higher risk of disabilities

A new report from the US Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics, reported in the San Francisco Chronicle, suggests that adopted children have a three times higher rate of developing disabilities, both psychological and physical, than those raised in their family homes.  Some reasons for the higher rates are hypothesized.
