Depression and First Nations’ youth

A recent study published in the Canadian Journal of Public Health and cited in the Saskatoon Star Phoenix looks at the prevalence rates of depression among on-reserve First Nations’ teens, specific risk factors the increase depression rates among this cohort, and some promising programs to mitigate the impact of depressed mood within this group of youth.
