ADHD increases risk of injury in kids

A new study from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to be published in Academic Pediatrics and reported in HealthDay has found that those diagnosed with ADHD have significantly higher rates of injury than their peers.  They literally leap before they look! Implications for parents (and caregivers) are included.

    Wasn’t there some work reported by Hecht (& Weiss?) on adolescents & auto accidents? I vaguely remember that the rate for those with ADHD was 4x greater than a suitable comparison, but non ADHD, group.
