Mindfulness in the classroom

An article in this morning’s Globe and Mail makes the case for mindfulness and its importance in, not only adults’ well-being, but also childrens’.  A classroom-based program mentioned specifically is MindUP which is apparently being used successfully in Vancouver schools.  The link provides both sample curriculum and class outlines for download for 3 age groups, available on Scholastic.  Worth a look as a pro-active school psychology initiative.
