Is there a racial/cultural difference in timing of autism diagnosis?

A small study from the Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins University, discussed in USA Today , suggests that because of cultural differences in developmental expectations, minority children as diagnosed considerably later than their Caucasian counterparts, leaving them behind in terms of accessing early intervention.  Is this true in Canada as well?
