Focus on learning, not scores

A new study published by the American Psychological Association and reported in PsychCentral looked at the impact of the feedback students are given on their performance on problem solving tasks and how it improves or discourages future performance.  The key message – “learning is hard and takes work” is a better message than “did you get it right?”
