Teachers and parents buffer middle schoolers from at-risk behaviours

Nurturing middle school teachers, as well as close ties with parents, act as protective factors for students when it comes to at-risk behaviours such as drinking and smoking.  Findings are reported in PsychCentral , and published in the journal Psychology of Addictive Behaviors.
