Autism numbers rose sharply in the last decade

A new report from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), reported in the APA PsycPORT,  has found that the prevalence rate of autism diagnoses is now 1:88 as opposed to 1:110 a decade ago.  Better screening is cited as the reason for the increase.
