Brief therapy helps traumatized kids and their families

An article in today’s New York Times presents the results of a study published in The Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry from the Childhood Violent Trauma Center at Yale University, in partnership with Safe Horizon, of a controlled clinical trial of a new therapy program, called the Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention. The outcomes are impressive, and hopefully we’ll learn more about this promising program soon.
