The Power of Play

Thanks to Shane Jimerson for sharing with us his Power of Play program, which has been developed at the University of California Santa Barbara.  The research group is finding excellent results from this approach to organizing recess time, minimizing the opportunity for bullying,  and the training of both staff and children which are involved.

You can access the pdf documents here:   descriptive handout for the Power of Play program, the Play Book training manual, and the Problem Solving Method poster.

Enjoy!
