Back to school reading

Thanks to Suzanne M. from NB for pointing us to some NASP articles that may be useful to you in your work with teachers in the new term.  Retention vs. social promotion are always  concerns, and a new article published in  Principle Leadership reviews the research and recommendations.  From the Communique an article on school based mental health services provided by psychologists provides ideas for advocacy.  And finally, from the Read Periodicals website, and article from the Communique on the relative utility of various phonological awareness tests.  Happy reading!
