Two new studies explore teen substance use

Two studies from the University of Cincinnati, reported in PsychCentral, look at teen behaviour and substance use.  Using data from the Pride Survey, a national survey that provides an independent assessment of adolescent drug use, violence and other behaviors, the first study  looks at use of over the counter medications in high school students, while the second study focuses on alcohol abuse in bullies and victims.  Both point to the insulating impact of close family support.
