The connection between arts and depression in teens

A new study from the APA Journal Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts, reported in EurekAlert, explored the relationship between teen engagement in arts and music and possible depression.  A cognitive style associated with introspection might be the link.  The message was early identification of any unhealthy tendencies that might appear in “artsy” teens.
