Bullies are “cool” in middle school

New research from UCLA, reported in EurekAlert, looked at the relationship between aggressiveness and the perception of being “cool” to middle school students.  Interestingly, being a bully tends to increase social status.  The relationship was true of both boys and girls.  Some implications for anti-bullying programs in schools are noted.
