The development of empathy, as seen in children’s reactions to disasters

A study to be published by the Association for Psychological Science’s journal, Psychological Science, looks at the development of empathy in children following natural disasters and trauma.  Age makes a difference in reactions.  The article, whose lead article is Canadian, is also cited in Time magazine (see link).
