Autism symptoms differ in girls and boys

Two new studies, being presented at the International Meeting for Autism Research in San Sebastian, Spain, and reported in US News and World Report Health Day, suggest that girls with autism are different from boys with autism.  Reasons for the differences are hypothesized, along with the key message that different presentations may indicate different approaches to intervention.
