Kindergarten success doesn’t predict later school performance

An article in this morning’s Globe and Mail presents the results of  a large Ontario study of kindergarten performance and how well it predicted later school success.  Apparently there isn’t a lot of indication to be found, either for at-risk kindergarteners or for those who are successful.  The question of full or half-day kindergarten programs are also discussed.
