ADHD drugs don’t enhance academic performance

Thanks to Joseph S. from Montreal for pointing out this new research from the University of Pennsylvania, cited on the Association of Psychological Science webpage and published in the Wall Street Journal which suggests that ADHD drugs do many things, but do not improve academic performance.  Isn’t that what they’re supposed to be all about?
