FDA approves brain-wave technology to identify ADHD

The US FDA has approved a EEG process to diagnose ADHD.  According to an article in the Los Angeles Times, however, a psychologist from UCLA, who has done extensive work in ADHD, questions the value of this type of identification.  What do you think?

    So, FDA approval means that the procedure won’t harm children or adolescents BUT what about the lack of added validity to identification of ADHD?

    Shouldn’t we be concerned about the purpose of this EEG procedure?
