When do children develop certain types of memory?

A new study from Ohio State University looked at the development of children’s memory, and found that some types of memory, in particular episodic memory, does not develop as early as once thought.  Elementary school students still struggle with such memory tasks, and cautions are offered to teachers and parents, as well as for those taking courtroom testimony.
