Where kids live impacts working memory

A new study from Dartmouth University, cited in EurekAlert, looked at the differences in visual and auditory working memory in kids as a factor of their living (rural vs urban) and socio-economic conditions.  The stimulation of a city have differential effects on brain development, it seems.
