Teen self-harm ER visits increasing

CBC News is reporting a national increase in teens seeking help through emergency room visits for self-harming behaviours.  The rising incidence alone is of concern, but reasons for it, as well as the impact on the health care system are problematic for society.  Reference is made to a Canadian suicide assessment tool which was developed by an Ottawa-based psychologist.  Check it out (a link to it is available within the article) .
