Mindset towards studying makes a difference in what we learn

New research from Washington University in St. Louis, reported in PsychCentral, found that students who thought they were studying material to teach to others did better on organization, retention, and enthusiasm for the task than those who thought they were studying for a test.  Interesting strategy for teachers to use, and a win-win for students!
