Most mental health disorders in children and youth are not on the rise

Contrary to popular impressions, a new Canadian study, reported in EurekAlert, has determined that there is no real increase in the rates of most mental health disorders in children and youth, and in fact, some problem areas are decreasing.  Better education and prevention measures are recommended to continue this encouraging trend.
