Aggression is the norm for high school boys

A new longitudinal study from the University of Georgia, reported in PsychCentral,  examined relational aggression in boys and girls during their high school years and found that boys’ rates of aggression were considerably higher than were the rates for girls.  The authors note that programs have targeted “mean girls” but seem to have overlooked the obvious need to teach boys, as well, how to behave in socially appropriate ways.
