Language skills in autistic children

Two recent studies referenced in SmartBrief shed light on the development of language skills in autistic children.  One, from HealthDay News, notes that brain scans can help predict which autistic children will develop normal language skills and which won’t.  The other, from Science World Report, draws attention to the fact that autistic children tend not to  use personal pronouns, perhaps indicative of their self-perceptions.
