Girls’ autism symptoms differ from boys’

A new study from the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Interactive Autism Network, reported in disabilityscoop, has noted that girls generally display different symptoms of autism, and as a result, are often identified much later, which could delay their access to appropriate services.  This may also impact the incidence rates of autism.
