Youth mental health in a “crisis situation”

A recently released report from the US-based Child Mind Institute, reported in HealthlineNews has declared the lack of mental health services available to children and youth to have reached crisis level.  The statistics are staggering, and one would assume that they are reflective a very similar situation in Canada.  No mention of school psychology unfortunately, which is where the health promotion and early intervention are to be found.  The focus seems always to be on clinical reactivity.  Too bad.
