New ADHD research

Two new studies address the limited focus associated with ADHD and make suggestions for improving it.  In a study from the University of Iowa, cited in EurekAlert, ways to help children with ADHD bicycle more safely are discussed.  In another, from Stanford University School of Medicine, cited in HealthDay, researchers used MRIs to establish that those with ADHD have much weaker brain connections than typically developing children, accounting for the lack of focus.  The researchers hope this information will help find ways to strengthen those connections.
