New classification tool for autism developed at McMaster University

Researchers at the CanChild Centre for Childhood Disability Research at McMaster University have developed a new diagnostic tool to describe in greater detail the social and communicative abilities of autistic children.  The tool, described in an article in PsychCentral, offers insight into the functional abilities of an autistic child, with an eye towards intervention by the child’s care team.
