Later start times in high school lead to better student performance

A new study from McGill  University, cited in this morning’s Globe and Mail, supports a growing body of research suggesting that later start times for high school students lead to better attendance and performance.  Despite that information, many school districts arrange school start times by transportation schedules, not student welfare.  Too bad!
