Can autism be detected by a blood test?

New research from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, reported in disabilityscoop, suggests that a blood test can determine whether an individual is on the autism spectrum or not.  We  seem to be closing in on biological indicators on what was once seen as a behavioural condition – interesting times!
